Kentucky Owl Takumi Edition Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey is a collaboration that began with a conversation between Master Blender John Rhea, who creates every bottle of Kentucky Owl bourbon, and Yusuke Yahisa of Nagahama, Japan.

Kentucky Owl Takumi Edition Whiskey is a new, limited-edition expression that showcases beloved Kentucky bourbon through Japanese whisky’s eyes.

The Kentucky Owl Takumi Edition Bourbon is made using 4, 5, 6 and 13 year old Kentucky straight bourbons with a mash bill containing corn, rye or wheat, and malted barley. It's described as having an initial wave of rye bread with a mouthfeel that is said to be full-bodied, followed by a finish flavorful and long.
