The First New BTAC Expression Since 2006. A Historic Bottle.
The E.H. Taylor 2025 Antique Collection marks a landmark moment in American whiskey history — the first new addition to the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection since Thomas H. Handy joined the lineup in 2006. Aged 15 years and 4 months in Buffalo Trace's legendary warehouses and hand-bottled at 100 proof to meet the strict Bottled-in-Bond standard, this is a whiskey that honors the legacy of Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor Jr. — the man who championed the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897 and helped define what American bourbon could be.
Tasting Notes
- 🍁 Warm vanilla, seasoned oak, and charred undertones on the nose
- 🍁 A drizzle of maple sweetness opening the palate
- 🌶️ Balanced baking spices and gentle wood notes
- 🍒 A hint of cherry on the long, lingering finish
- 🍬 Soft caramel and vanilla carrying through to the end
15 Years. 100 Proof. One for the History Books.
The BTAC is released once a year in extremely limited quantities and is among the most sought-after allocations in American whiskey. The E.H. Taylor addition is a once-in-a-generation release — a bottle that will be remembered long after it's gone.
