Single grain Scotch whisky is the great unsung hero of the whisky world — misunderstood, underappreciated, and increasingly collectible. Made from grains other than malted barley (typically wheat or corn) at a single distillery, single grain whisky is lighter and more delicate than single malt, but in the hands of skilled blenders and independent bottlers, it can achieve extraordinary complexity and elegance.
